Not knowing is how you break things and get hurt. You should always know the capability of your ride and "have a good idea" on how it will act in any given situation.... atriot:Ha ha, I know how you feel. Never can tell what your ride will do one any give slope
All I'm saying is: check out the obstacle first so there will be no surprises, know your vehicle's limitation and your own driving skill before you try something. When you attempt something you should have a "reasonable" feeling you and your Jeep are up to the task. I have never attempted an obstacle that I didn't think I could safely do. That's how things get broke and people hurt.Looks pretty hairy to me too! If you knew you could make it up every hill before you tried it that'd take the adventure out of it!
Great!! You did exactly what your supposed to do, which many newbies, or once a year weekend cowboy with a 12 pack of Bud and a 4wd don't do. Many just go full throttle and hope they make it and that is not the way it's done.well i walked the hill twice and watched the 20+ jeeps ahead of me go up it so i was prepared enough to tackle it safely.
