Hey, just got a non running 1947 Willys Jeep CJ-2a project. Looking forward to fixing it up and running it on our property and all the country roads around here.

I am in the process of tracking down junkyard Jeeps for parts. My little brother bought it for $250. We are on a budget and don't have the cash to start buying new parts on the internet. I am in college at Blinn up here in Brenham.

Here are some pics:
Sorry for the crappy quality, its from my phone...

Yeah, really, the rust isn't that bad. I was gonna get it running, then have the frame and the tub sandblasted or sodablasted then paint it. It will probably be going in the garage once we finish building our house.

They wanted $500, but my little brother got them down to $250. The suspension looks complete and it does roll well, as we towed it home.

Yeah, either green, or I kinda think it would look good black. :)

I live in Wa. St. (Vancouver) and there is an old 40's (?) 2A in a field on my way to work. There is a for sale sign on it. I can get info if any one is interested.
Oh yea, welcome Brad ! :)
