We are picking up my wife a stock 91 XJ 2dr sport. It is a 5speed,, 4x4, not much really know about it yet.

i already have lined up leafs for the rear, springs for the front, lca for the front, maybe a side glass, pick up front lift shocks sunday.

Even have the track bar.

so far i have changed the wheels to a stock set of xj wheels, fixed the head liner, put a pass window in it.

bout to get either a 29 spline 8.25 or a 8.8 both have lsd and 4.10, also gettin a non disco hp30 with 4.10 and a 3" or a 4.5" lift. also have a set of 33" tires lined up and a choice of wheels.

So whats your main goal with it, what do you want the finished jeep to look like?

not really sure. she is about to get a non disco d30 and a 8.8 and 4.10 gears. it will also get a exo. and about to do a aw4 swap. it prob wont go to much bigger than 3" for a while. i want it to grow with her experience. she wants to be able to keep up with mine but that will be a while. im gettin a hp44/9" combo with detroits front and rear with 4.56. my wheels will be goin to her wont be any good to me anymore. also have to find her a set of 33's. i may have them lined up too.

I love 2 door XJ's. Good platform to start on. Make sure there's no rust in the cargo area under the carpet, and under the rear seats. They're famous for that. Can't wait to see the progress on this one.

the front floor pans have some but the rear is good. also the rockers have a lil but will get cut out and sliders built into them.

here are a pic of the wheels and tires comin tomorrow.

33x12.5x15 Maxxis Bighorns on 15x10 ION Alloy wheels.


will also be installin - 3" BDS front springs, bastard pack rear, relocate brake lines, JK shocks, custom BPE's, front LCA's. maybe a track bar if need be.

as of right now i have installed the following:

WORP Off Road rear bumper with tire carrier
3" BDS front springs
3" rear block temp to clear tire bastard pack on the way
TJ fender flairs (rear still to go on)
33x12.5x15 Maxxis Bighorns
ION wheels 15x10
Replace the grill
Midland 1001 cb with 4ft fiberglass antenna rear gate mounted.
