Awesome GC Ed.

That winch looks like it slides into your hitch receiver?

yeah, the GC is my daily driver. The winch is a "hand me down" M8000 came off my truck when I upgraded to a larger one. So I went with a front receiver so I wouldn't have a 100 lb. winch hanging 3' in front of the front axle ALL THE TIME. The small light bar I made and it slides in when the winch isn't on (which is about 95% of the time).

Also drilled a couple holes in the fairlead so I could still have off-road lights when the winch is on.
I have a quick connect for power to the lights mounted under the bumper and used a wireless relay for powering the lights on and off so I could simply program my HomeLink and not have to run a wire for a switch. It's also nice because I can operate the lights from outside the vehicle with a key fob.

Yeah, I kinda like the idea of having a front receiver hitch. I like the idea of basically being able to weld ANYTHING to a 2" square tube and having it on the front of the Jeep. I'm gonna build a fishing rod holder that will hold four rods for surf fishing after the holidays.

By the time I'm done I'll have a swiss army knife of attachments for the receiver, LOL...
