How do I remove the back seat?

Just bought a 2001 wrangler...did not come with owner's manual..want to remove the back seats for more storage room...figured out how to fold them forward and couldn't find anything that would let me remove them. I know it can be done...just don't know how...

It's been over 10 years since i removed the back seat out of my '99 TJ. If memory serves me correctly, put the seat up and squeeze on the small bar that runs the entire width of the seat. You should be able to see where the latches hook to the floor at either end. It took me a couple of minutes pulling and tugging, but it popped free.

Edit: I just found this link with pictures, looks like there are a couple of different ways. Push your seat forward and see which applies to your Jeep.
