If you dislike the rules...let me know too.

"3. Member or ride can only win JOTM 1 time per calender year. ie: John can't win in January '11 and August '11. If you have more then one jeep, that other jeep that didn't win can enter." You may want to rethink the wording of this rule... it kind of contradicts itself. First you say, "member...

    Rule #4???

Great, because your prior requirement would not allow a picture of the Jeep and the information you wanted unless it was a poster. A piece of paper would be impossible to read and get the entire Jeep in the picture....

    Rule #4???

"4. So we know its yours, we need you to take a picture that has "Jeep Militia" and your user name on a piece of paper on your jeep somewhere. It can be any quality picture, just so long as we can see the writing on the paper and the jeep." uh... I don't understand this requirement. It seems...

? cj dash in a yj

LOL... want a cleaner look? Gotta love plastic!! Go with a TJ dash and do a head light swap while you're at it. You know what they say about square head light Jeeps!! :Big Laugh: Sorry, I can't offer any help other than my tongue and cheek comments. Try Google... there are more, but I had to...

Road trippin it in the CRD

LOL... that is IF ya wanna put up with all the CRD quirks and the high $$$ expense of a timing belt change at 100K miles. The Jeep dealer here in Mesa wants $1,285.00 to do the job with new pullies, belts and other things you should do. On top of that, no one has experience working on that...

Jeep love starts early!! (Old pics)

I'd say you started early!! Way to go. I got a late start, in my late 40's. I was a muscle car, sports car type. I had never owned a truck and until that fateful evening in Feb '99, never even seen a Jeep close up. Came home that night with a '99 Wrangler TJ... been doing trails all over...

    whats wrong with this picture

Okay... I stand corrected. It looks like the TJ/LJ Rubicons did not have the fender extensions, but came with a little body armor along the bottom side, but no rock rails. I don't know what you mean by "rockers". My friends Rubicon LJ on a trail we did last summer near Tucson....

    Thinking about getting a Liberty.

LOL... when springs wear and start sagging, it's time to get new ones AND go even higher!!

The evolution of my YJ over ten years!! (Lots of pics)

It looks good and to think you've had it for that long!! I had my '99 TJ for nine years before selling it for my '08 JK.

    whats wrong with this picture

All TJ's came with the short flare behind the fender. It is not a rocker guard, it's an extension of the fender. My '99 TJ SE 2.5L with 31"x10.5" BFG M/T's....

Post A Pic Of Your Jeep!! RIGHT NOW!

Where are you located?? Do a Goggle for a group in your area and join up with them, most clubs welcome new people. If they don't, they aren't worth trying to hook up with. Once you find a group or club, you'll quickly have a new group of friends that hits the trails for more than a few hours a...

    Tire size.

It's a Rubicon Express 2.0" coil spacer lift with the Rubicon Express monotube shocks and JKS quick disconnects. With my lift, tire and wheel combo, I'm set up for medium to slightly difficult rated trails. IMHO... it all about what you were going to use the Jeep for and how high you need to go...

    Suspension lift

Thanks for the compliment, but I was not trying for a Rubicon look. The only thing Rubicon on my Jeep are the rock rails.

    whats wrong with this picture

In a lot of cases the 6 cylinder TJ Sport had a 4.0L sticker on the side of the Jeep. The 4 banger SE had nothing. There are also a lot of wanna be jeepers out there, even ones with built rigs that never go off road. You'll find a few of theno nothings that will put bogus decals thinking no one...

Post A Pic Of Your Jeep!! RIGHT NOW!

Who is they?? I don't know how much experience you've had on the trails, or where the your pics were taken, but the rule of thumb is to "Tread Lightly" by staying on existing trails and don't be cutting your own path or short cut. That is one of the main reasons why the Greenie Wackos are...

    Tire size.

I've never seen a stock Rubicon with wider fender flares than the Sahara or X. A stock height Rubi will sit a little higher because it has longer shocks. A JK X with the the Rubi 32" tire and 17" wheel combo comes no where close to needing a lift even tho it sits a little lower than the Rubi...

    whats wrong with this picture

It's a TJ Sport "wanna be" Rubicon. And if I were to guess, a it's also a 2.5L four cylinder. Do I win a prize for being first and another one for the correct answer??
