we got what we were after so we are happy :winner_second_h4h:, we are goin mid june next year, ORI of Reno is hosting us for the weekend, then over to Cali for the Rubicon for a few days, hit Moab on the way back for a few more days of wheeling and maybe a stop in Colorado for a trail or two...

All you can change is the springs without tearin the head off, pretty simple, you can also stuff the cylinder with rope Thru the spark plug hole. if you don't have a compressor and adaptor, use like some clothesline cord, takes about 4-5 ft of it & turn the engine over by hand untill it softly...

Well we ended up taking second place after some shady officiating but that was expected, afterall it was a "pirate" sponsered contest so you knew who would take first. We did win the wheeling trip though, I'll post up more info as I get it, we have to have a meeting to set a date for next year.

Normally a valve spring problem wouldn't be intermitent, that's usually electrical or fuel issues. Any other codes? By intermitent you mean it happens once a week or every day?

Pretty simple on a 4.0, all you need is a spring compressor, some rope or an air fitting and compressor to hold the valves closed and a small magnet pick up tool to help get the keepers out of the retainers. What happened, you replacing them all or just one?

It could be the window regulator, motor or drivers door switch, first check to see if you are getting power to the motor, if so it's the motor, if not it's the drivers side switch or a broken wire.
