CJ-2a Parts

Just bought a 1947 Jeep CJ-2a that needs restoring and parts to get it running. I am having a hard time trying to track down used parts in my area, and was wondering if Jeep parts are pretty interchangeable with other makes of the same time period. (Carbs, water pump, oil pump, etc. etc.) I am trying to do this on a budget so I was trying to cover all the bases before I had to buy new parts off the internet.
