problem solved.. It was the transmission output speed sensor. I replaced it the check engine light is off now and the Jeep shifts so smoothly i barely even notice it. No more high RPM either.

Well i figured out it was the airfilter box. It has 3 bolts that bolt to the frame under the box, and all 3 nuts were gone.. I just found 3 nuts with the wings on them, so you can twist it with your fingers, and the noise is gone... Thank god it was nothing major lol.

Well i fugure out what it was, its the air filter box. I poped the hood once i got the noise to start again and smacked the filter box and it stopped.. It seems the box is a little lose because i can wiggle it and almost replicate the noise. Are there bolts or something that bolt this down...
