When i bought my KK i didnt opt for the skid plates ( i know..dumb ) so now as i start to prepare to set it up for a hybrid road and off road vic i need to get them.

Is it worth sticking with the OEM ones from the factory? or should i look else where?

The OEM ones will be better than no skids. The aftermarket ones will be heavier duty and cost more.

If you are planning to go off-road then skids and hooks should be your first mods.

Just my opinion.

huh, didnt know that i truly needed them first. So i suppose the new order should be

Skids
Lift
Tires
Rock Rails

Then fun :)

Yes the OEM skids are better than non. They're very thin. The aftermarket jobs are tough. Steel and or aluminum are available.
