After the rainiest spring I can remember the sun's finally coming out! It's supposed to be nice all week, so I took the top off the YJ. It's nice to have a garage to store it in and just take it out on nice days.

The goal is to keep the top off until at least October.

I'm so excited to drive it to work tomorrow! :driver:

Old pic, but this is what she looks like now...

Where's a new pic??

Its been dry and hot here in AZ for a few weeks now. I wish we could get at least one more good rain day :) I love the look of your yj. Everytime I see a pic of it, it brings me back to my dukes of hazard watching days as it reminds me of Daisy Duke's jeep :)

Hahaha, thanks Bryan! I'll hopefully post a new pic tomorrow. It's a bit dark at the moment.

I'm gonna freeze on the way to work tomorrow! It will still be pretty cold at 9am.

I loved the Dukes of Hazzard too. A few of my friends called me Daisy in high school because of my Jeep. I hated it, but secretly thought it was kind of cool.

52 degrees, currently.

I plan to buy some new roll bar padding soon, along with (hopefully) an Aussie locker for the front. I really want a locker again. I had a Lock Right in the rear D35 years ago, but all the teeth wore down to nothing and I never replaced it. The pins inside broke about 5 times too. I never abused it or anything, just drove it a lot! Two rear axles later I'm running an 8.25" out of an XJ and it's been flawless ever since. Other than that annoying leaky diff cover that I didn't get sealed properly.

I've been running Doorless and mostly topless for the past week or so. I've put the front freedom panels on for some weather protection since it rains a bit every afternoon here.

Man, the weather turned to crap right after I posted this, so I've hardly driven the Jeep. On the 4th it was decent, so I drove it a little. It's been in the high 80's here the last two days, so I intend to drive it to work tomorrow if it's still this hot. I get off at midnight, so the evening temp is a consideration...but it's still 70 outside right now!

Really nice CJ. I would leave the top/doors off as long as I could also.
