My own home rooftop tire mount.

So i always thought when people had their spare on the roof it looked sick. So with 2 ratchet straps i made my own! i criss crossed them and tightened them good. I got the idea from somebody who had done it from texas to colarado and said there were no problems. gonna leave it up for a week or so and see if it gets loose. what you guys think? is it safe enough? My mom was FREAKING saying how im going to kill somebody and just to make her worry more i told her eh, so i go to a funeral. But in reality i dont want that thing to break loose. its dark so the picture probably blows but here it is.
