Come on folks... this is a lot of fun!! LOST puts on events back east and out west a couple of times a year. Don't confuse these events for Jeep Jamboree or Camp Jeep were you pay through the nose (typically $150.00 ~ $250.00 PER PERSON for a three day event) to run what are normally free trails. IMHO, those are money making events only. This event is put on by guys from a local chapter of a nationwide Jeep club... LOST JEEPS. If you notice above, there are no big dollar sign up fee's, it's all free. You only pay your own food and lodging.

Beth and i have tried a few other clubs, both with our Jeep and the Crossfire. The LOST gang is by far the best down to earth bunch ever... family oriented and just good plain folks. Some run highly modified Jeeps, but most are mildly lifted to stockers. Just one big happy family.

If you're a beginner or have a lot of off road experience, it doesn't matter. You need to check out yellocoyote's ECS, you won't be sorry. The only thing better are the LOST events held here in the southwest... J/K... J/K!! I had to get in a shameless plug in for those of us LOST folks here on the left side of the country!! Seriously, check out the ECS... you'll have more fun than you can imagine!!

Thanks for the promo, AJ - we appreciate it! :D

Even if someone wants to come out to the event site and ride along, that's definitely doable.

I go to this event every year - takes me about 9.5-10 hours to drive there from near Chicago. We had someone come up from Ft. Lauderdale, FL one year (13.5 hours)... and out from New Orleans, LA last year (13 hrs)... both of them have told us that it's totally worth it, and they would do it again.

So come wheel with us! :D

I'm just might have to!! Things out here have been dead. Doesn't seem like anybody is interested in local runs or trips to Moab or Ouray. It's a shame, I know a lot of you guys on the right side would kill for the trails we have out here....

So true. We make do with what we have though.

It's not just your area... It's hard to get people to commit to trips around here as well. I end up piggy-backing on to local club trips when LOST falls thru.
