copper fever

Hello does any one no or have seen on any cj,s a copper or brass grill. My custom cj has these very items and when i purchased jeep as basket case they were in it ,so I used them with the copper mirror brackets (arms) and dash my cj is a 77 any info would be appreciated. would someone e-mail me if they no [email protected] Thank You

nothing from the factory had brass or copper body parts, both metals are too soft & expensive for mass production.
the golden eagles had gold painted wagon wheels but the mirrors & arms were black, laredos had chrome ones.
someone either had this stuff plated or custom made, see if a magnet sticks to any of it, if it does its just plated steel.

I have never seen copper or brass parts on a jeep. Doesn't mean they don't exist though. Are you sure the parts were not painted by the prior owner maybe?

I would like to see what it looks like. Got pics?
