Hello! I'm a new guy (obviously) who likes all things Jeep. I also drive a 2003 Yukon, and I was referred to this sitefrom the Tahoe/Yukon forum by Shaggy.

I have an '88 YJ Wrangler with some modifications, mostly out of necessity due to breakage. :crazy:

258 with Weber carb
AX-15 trans(originally had a Peugot, but I swapped that POS out after it got stuck in fifth gear)
Chrysler 8.25" rear out of an XJ.(Blew up two D35's)
Tom Wood front driveshaft
Warn 8274
Cobra CB
Pioneer CD player that works through two of four speakers
31" BFG A/T's
Open diffs for now. Had a Lock-Right, but it suffered catastrophic failure.

I do have a few mods planned. I really want to try an Aussie Locker in the front Dana 30, and I have a spare 258 I'm thinking about swapping in at some point soon. The original engine has a big blow by problem and spits oil everywhere. Sometimes it even runs down the inside of the hood and down the outside of the fender. Yuck. It still runs great, though.

Also, I need to buy or build a tire carrier/bumper. The 31" tire on the tailgate has caused some damage over the years.

Otherwise, I'd like to paint it someday, but that takes cash....
