few upgrades on the cj

went to the shop and got the traction bar on, had to weld a crossmember up and drill all the holes for the plates. fixed all the cracked welds on the frame ,too much torq. relocated the rear brake line mount. took off exaust,and put wheel spacers on :yahoo:

i hope not, i went through 6 drive shafts and 2 leaf springs. then i made the trac bar.

cut a air filter cover out of some stuff i got at the fabric store. pics of the trac bar and fabricated a cross member,relocated brake bolt, just welded a cut bolt to the axle and threw a few nuts on. and fixed the broken welds in the front plate.

i rebuilt them with the best upgrades, should hold till i get 2.5 ton rockwells or till i sell it.

yeah that trac bar is heavy duty, about 40 pounds. its got a jonny joint at the top for movement!

Looking great...trac bar is a definet with soa...Just a fyi that fabric filter stuff you used is HIGHLY flammable you may want to keep an eye on it with all the heat underhood...if you see any spots that look like it melted scrap it.

i have my 35/15/15 swampers for sale 850.00 after i sell them i will buy some 39.5 boggers
