Had a rare opportunity to do a tour of the Jeep Plant here in Toledo. Pretty hard to get in to do it but we managed. Tony a friend of ours that is on LOST JEEPS and KJ Country came over from Spain and he and I got to do the tour on Tuesday.
Saw all of the line where they make the KKs and Nitros and then over to the Wrangler line. Saw many left hand drive, even some Wrangler Diesels
, quite a few for the Israel Army, dark green, no back seats, Rubicon Suspension but regular steel wheels. They ordered 1000 of them! Currently they are running two shifts and have a 60 day back order. Someones ordering JKs!
Of course no pictures inside the plant although they did take our picture at the end of the tour and we grabbed a couple outside the plant.
If you ever get an opportunity its well worth all of the hassle to get in.
