Default Idiots Guide to 4WD Definitions & Function of Components
Hopefully, I'm not the only one, but I have done wheeling, yet I am not a real mechanical type of person. I have worked on vehicles, but by no means am I an expert.
I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion(s) on any books, (or websites), that give the names of the different parts of a 4x4 and explain what their function is in the vehicle and how they relate to other components.
I've taken "auto shop" back in high school but never really applied too much of what I learned. So maybe someone knows of some general auto repair books that explain the basic operations of automobiles, (more so 4x4's).
